MICHELE CADE KHELIFI

Michele Cade Khelifi is a calligraphy artist of French, British, and Uruguayan heritage, known for her emotionally resonant works that blur the lines between language, memory, and abstraction. Based in Dubai, her practice is deeply intuitive—guided by movement, rhythm, and the unspoken. Each piece becomes a visual poem: script layered in pigment and silence, where meaning dissolves and feeling takes its place.

Educated at Central Saint Martins in London, Michele began her career in graphic design before dedicating herself fully to art. Her distinctive voice has been shaped by years spent living between London, Hong Kong, and the UAE, and her work explores themes of fragility, concealment, and emotional connection—creating space for reflection in an overstimulated world.

Her calligraphic compositions span canvas, ceramics, and large-scale installations, and have been showcased in leading regional exhibitions including the Dubai Calligraphy Biennale, Sikka Art Festival, and Bluewaters Art Festival. She has collaborated with global luxury brands such as Montblanc, Mercedes-Benz, Dubai Holding, and Vuze, and her works are held in private collections across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Michele is represented by Meems across the Middle East and Africa. In an increasingly noisy world, her art offers a rare clarity—an invitation to pause, feel, and reconnect through the quiet force of contemporary calligraphic expression.
